Pictured above is my new Davis Vantage Pro2 sensor console and rain gauge. This system houses the temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure sensors, as well as the rain gauge and the sensor data transmitter, which wirelessly transmits data to my display console indoors.
And this is the anemometer, mounted on top of my roof, and connected to the sensor console via standard 4-conductor (telephone) wire.
Pictured here is the indoor console which receives and displays the transmitted data. In addition, there is a data logger plugged into the back which connects to my computer via USB. Data is uploaded to my computer (and, then, this website) every 15 minutes. Pretty cool.
